New Let’s Play Moble: Monster Dash Ghostbusters DLC

I’m a big fan of Ghostbusters, to the point that I re-watched the movie last night and enjoyed it just as much as I did when I first saw it all those years ago. So when Halfbrick introduced new DLC for Monster Dash based on the franchise, I jumped at the opportunity to try it out:

Just to add to what I mention during the video, I first watched Ghostbusters II on the big screen when I was about 6 or 7 with my Dad. This is back in Dublin, Ireland where I grew up for most of my early years. I still own the movie guide they released in the newsagents when it came out, pretty sure I could find it somewhere and post photos from it if I wanted to. As for the movie itself, I hid in the toilet at one point when the painting came to life. Scared the crap out of me back then, my own worst nightmare.

The first movie I remember seeing at my friends house around the same time (that friend has since grown up to be a part of Irish band Delorentos. Who would have thought!). But I was a bigger fan of the animated series and the comic books when it went big. I haven’t kept up with it much since, though I’ve noticed a few changes here or there (like a female member and Ray being in a wheelchair during another cartoon series some years ago).

It’s great that the team is back in some way, though I’m still hesitant about the new movie. Like I said, I’m all for a female cast, just as long as they get the script right. But without the original team, it just won’t be the same for me.
